Please read carefully the yoga book of records rules & guidelines. 

  • Yoga Book of Records does not promote or accept attempts or records that can potentially lead to any kind of destruction or harm to property, health, morality or general well-being of an individual/organization/society. Similarly, the record/record attempt should not hurt or cause any kind of injury to any animal’s.
  • Yoga Book of Records will not accept responsibility for the safety of participants or bystanders in any record attempt. it is your sole responsibility to ensure that all necessary safety precautions are in place and that all equipment used are suitable and thoroughly checked prior to the record attempt to take place and in compliance with any all all local health and safety laws and regulation.
  • Approval or disapproval of any attempt of record will be solely the decision of the official YBR team. Record application processing may take up to 30 days from the date of receipt of the application. After processing the application a Record Claim ID and record specific rules & regulations would be provided.
  • While attempting for a world record, the following guide lines should be followed :-1. Presence of Yoga book of record’s representative is not mandatory to break/make a record. However the attempt has to made in presence of someone having standing in society like a District magistrate or a School Principal or a Gazetted Officer. 2. For record attempt in yoga field, at least one of the witnesses should be an expert in that yoga field. 3. However, the authenticity of the record should be properly taken care of by having either an adjudicators and witnesses at the record attempt location.
  • At least two witnesses should be present at the time of attempting the record. The complete details about all the witnesses should be enclosed with the claim documents. All the documents should be duly signed by all the witnesses.
  • Approval and certification will be published only after receiving the claim form and the complete process of attempt verification. All claim materials/documents/evidences submitted to YBR will be a property of YBR subsequent to the record claim.YBR is under no obligation to return any kind of claim materials/documents/evidences back to the attempter/attempting organization.
  • Includes a complete cover letter, details of record participants, complete witness form, logbooks, video footage, high-quality digital photographs, media coverage items (Audio/Video/Print/Electronic) including Newspaper clipping. Only original copies of newspaper clipping, video, photographs, log book, and official certificates will be accepted. For documents like driving license, pan card, duly attested copies should be submitted.
  • We may be unable to confirm your record’s status as until satisfied that we can use the materials you have submitted in support of your Record Attempt in any media without further reference to you or any third party.
  • You may attempt the record in public place and also invite the local media people for the coverage, which could be a part of the authentication of achieving record.
  • ‘Yoga Book of Records’ will be under no obligation to return evidence supporting materials to you in any circumstances.
  • The panel of judges/ evaluator’s decision will be final and no clarifications/complaints on the judgment will be accepted.
  • Hard copies of the application form sent only by post/courier will be accepted.
  • We prefer online claims and registrations of record attempts but also accept the documents at the YBR office address. You may download the form from www.yogaworldrecord.com also and after filling the form you can send it back to us along with the evidence at Yoga Book of Records 65, Lata Enclave, Girdharipura,  Ajmer road, Jaipur (Raj.) Pincode (302021).
  • You can separately apply for adjudication of record by filing the adjudication form.
  • Record Application Claim Form should be mailed at yogabookofrecords@gmail.com clearly mentioning the applicant’s name, address and contact details.

Disclaimer

  • Yoga Book of Records reserves the right to extend or to cancel, discontinue or terminate any record category at any time or attempt or reject any entry at their absolute discretion without giving any prior notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.
  • All disputes are subject to Jaipur, Rajasthan jurisdiction only.
  • All entries will be treated as the property of ‘ABYM YOGA BOOK OF RECORDS’.
  • In the event of errors in the publication or on the website, the sole responsibility of Yoga Book of Records will be to correct such errors in succeeding editions of the publication. Such correction is in lieu of any other remedy. Yoga Book of Records expressly disclaims all other liability for loss or incidental or consequential damage whether arising from negligence, contract, or other cause to any party for errors in publishing.

Entry into YBR and attempt of any record are subject to compliance with the Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) as well as the specific rules and guidelines applicable to each type of record attempt (the “Attempt”). Individuals interested in attempting to set or break a record are requested to study these Terms and the specific rules and guidelines applicable to the Attempt and sign the Disclaimer Form before the commencement of any Attempt in order to be considered for inclusion in the YBR.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

To be eligible for consideration by the YBR for a successful attempt, the person undertaking an Attempt “Participant” must fulfill the following conditions:
  • The Participant must have read and consented to the Terms, the specific rules and guidelines applicable to the Attempt, and must have signed and submitted the Disclaimer Form before undertaking the Attempt.
  • The Participant must fall in one of the four specified age groups, as specified below, and must adhere to the eligibility criteria of that age group and each Attempt must be corroborated by a valid proof of age:

  1. Age Group A – 0 years to 06 years (Super Kids)
  2. Age Group B – 07 years to 14 years (Kids)
  3. Age Group C – 15 years to 25 years (Youngest Achievers)
  4. Age Group D – 26 years to 50 years (Adult)
  5. Age Group E –  Above 51 years to 70 (Old)
  6. Age Group F –  Above  70 years  (Oldest)
  7. Along with this, the records are divided into different categories for men and women.

  • To be eligible for an Attempt in this category the Participant undertaking the Attempt must be (upto 07) years of age or below at the time of Attempt.
  • Consent from a parent or legal guardian must be submitted, after such parent or legal guardian has read the Terms as provided and has read and signed the Disclaimer Form. The concerned parent or legal guardian, as the case may be, must have read and explained the specific rules applicable to that category of Attempt to the Participant.
  • Certain categories of records may not be permitted for Participants from this age group, as may be notified by YBR from time to time.
  • No endurance related activities will be entertained as Attempts under this age group. These include, without limitation, endurance cycling, endurance running, endurance riding and muscular endurance activities. Any Attempt that is detrimental to a child’s health, or is potentially dangerous, or is in violation of any law in force, shall not be considered for entry in YBR and is strongly discouraged.

  • To be eligible for an Attempt in this category the Participant undertaking the Attempt must be  (08 to 14) years of age or below at the time of Attempt.
  • Consent from a parent or legal guardian must be submitted, after such parent or legal guardian has read the Terms as provided and has read and signed the Disclaimer Form. The concerned parent or legal guardian, as the case may be, must have read and explained the specific rules applicable to that category of Attempt to the Participant.
  • Certain categories of records may not be permitted for Participants from this age group, as may be notified by YBR from time to time.
  • No endurance related activities will be entertained as Attempts under this age group. These include, without limitation, endurance cycling, endurance running, endurance riding and muscular endurance activities. Any Attempt that is detrimental to a child’s health, or is potentially dangerous, or is in violation of any law in force, shall not be considered for entry in YBR and is strongly discouraged.

  • A Participant undertaking an Attempt under this age group must be older than fifteen (15) years of age and younger than or eighteen (24) years of age at the time of the Attempt.
  • Consent from a parent or legal guardian must be submitted, after such parent or legal guardian has read the Terms as provided and consented to the same. The parent or legal guardian is also required to have read and consented to the Disclaimer Form and any other rules specified in relation to the category of Attempt, before any undertaking of the Attempt.
  • Certain categories of records may not be permitted for Participants from this age group, as may be notified by YBR from time to time.
  • Attempts that are detrimental to the health of such persons, or that are potentially dangerous, or that are in violation of any law in force, will not be accepted for entry in YBR .

A Participant undertaking an Attempt under this age group must be older than twenty four (25) years of age and younger than or fifty (50) years of age at the time of the Attempt. All such Participants must have carefully read and consented to the Terms, the specific rules and guidelines set forth in regards the Attempt, and must have signed the Disclaimer Form before engaging in the Attempt.

The Participant must be above fifty (50) years of age. All such Participants must have carefully read and consented to the Terms, the specific rules and guidelines set forth in regards the Attempt, and must have signed the Disclaimer Form before engaging in the Attempt. 

The Participant must be above seventy (70) years of age. All such Participants must have carefully read and consented to the Terms, the specific rules and guidelines set forth in regards the Attempt, and must have signed the Disclaimer Form before engaging in the Attempt.
