The world record for the ‘largest number of people performing Singhasana (The Lion Pose)‘ has been achieved by the ABYM. 379 participants performed online (Facebook Live & Zoom Meeting) for one minute (00:01:00) on the occasion of Indian Republic Day and promote the powerful message: “Ek Singh Garjana Desh Ke Dushmano Ke Naam”. This program was organized by Akhil Bhartiya Yoga Mahasngh, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India on 26 January 2022. To create a new yoga world record in the longest – mass yoga world record category.
This ambitious and spiritually charged event was conducted with a deeply patriotic theme, carrying the powerful message: “Ek Singh Garjana Desh Ke Dushmano Ke Naam” (A Lion’s Roar Dedicated to the Enemies of the Nation). The symbolic choice of Singhasana, a posture that mimics the majestic roar of a lion, was a bold and meaningful tribute to India’s strength, courage, and sovereignty.
Organized by ABYM in Jaipur, Rajasthan, the program successfully entered the longest – mass yoga world record category. While the number of participants may seem modest compared to other mass yoga records, the essence of this record lies in the discipline, coordination, and intent behind the initiative. Through virtual platforms, yoga enthusiasts of all ages roared together, sending out a unified message of resilience and readiness to defend the dignity of the nation.
